BTCCSquare news:

Fiuu, a prominent digital payment processor in Southeast Asia, has introduced Apple's Tap to Pay on iPhone for merchants in Singapore. This innovation enables businesses to accept contactless payments—including Apple Pay, digital wallets, and contactless cards—directly through Fiuu's VIRTUAL Terminal app, eliminating the need for additional hardware.

The service is designed for iPhone XS and newer models, allowing merchants to set up the feature within minutes. This development is particularly advantageous for small businesses, pop-up shops, and mobile service providers, positioning Fiuu as a significant player in Singapore's cashless payment ecosystem.

Fiuu's CEO emphasized the platform's robust transaction handling, noting over US$9.8 billion processed. However, widespread adoption may hinge on broader payment service provider support.
